XML Web Services Working Group
The XML Web Services Working Group was recently formed as part of the Leveraging Technology Subcommittee of the Federal CIO Council's Architecture and Infrastructure Committee. The purpose of the group is to "accelerate the effective and appropriate implementation of XML Web services technology in the federal government...by providing a collaborative working environment with agencies, academia, private industry and others in which the needs of the 24 e-Gov initiatives and other cross-cutting IT projects can benefit from this exciting and promising new open standards-based technology."
