XML.org
XML.org provides a good summary of current events in the XML and XML Web services industries. While the news tends to be of the press release variety, the site also includes an up-to-date calendar of events and a decent repository of resources.

xmlhack
Like XML.org, xmlhack provides a summary of current events (skewed more towards specifications and open-source technologies). It also includes links to the most current specifications, as well as the occasional book review.

PerfectXML
PerfectXML is a portal of sorts for XML information, pulling together links to articles from other XML sites around the Web. It also provides some reviews of books and downloads of open-source software.

Webservices.org
Webservices.org provides original articles with content focusing on the development and implementation of XML Web services. Press releases for XML Web services software and basic case studies are also provided.
